A continuously updated list.
- Salad and all vegetarian/vegan food; high margin for restaurant, very cheap to make, and nutrients poor
- Blasphemy law; essentially a no-victim crime, you can’t offend God (if exists)
- Lottery; the odd is so against you, might as well throw your money to a wishing well and hope for the best
- Religions; mass controlling tools for getting political power, all rules are made up by human
- Political parties; do not represent your political view, they segregate the politicians’ interest
- Opening speech at Indonesian Government’s event; time-wasting, ass-kissing ceremony
- Voting; whichever side you choose (unless you’re some big deal businessman or politician), chances are you’ll be fucked anyway
- European Union’s environmental policy; every dirty energy is banned until they need it
- Fiber and fiber supplements; if we can’t digest them, why bother producing, shipping, and consuming them?
- Inheritance tax; your parents worked hard and get taxed their entire life, now they’re passing the result to you, you still have to pay?
- PSSI’s (Indonesian Football Federation) budget; all the efforts and no results. Might as well spend money on sports we’re good at (for example badminton, weight lifting)
- Service charge; we’ve paid for the restaurant’s margin by ordering food, this should cover their employees’ wages
- Indonesian Police budget; we have to pay for reporting a crime, might as well billed by the hour worked?
- Statins; most people who are prescribed don’t need it
- Participation Trophy; children need to learn how to deal with losses and disappointment
- Lip fillers; no one looks better after the injection
- Mega churches; profit maker for its operators
- NFTs; overvalued, overhyped JPEG
- Education; as long as the people in control can still send their children to study overseas, this will never get fixed
- to be continued
